This Privacy Policy, also referred to as this Data Protection Policy (“Policy”), explains how Marketlab Analytics LLC, operating the website and service known as metricfixer (“metricfixer,” “Marketlab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes personal data.

This Policy applies to metricfixer.com, the metricfixer ticket system, customer support communications, email communications with metricfixer, customer cabinet areas where available, payment-related workflows, and analytics, advertising, security, and operational systems used in connection with the Services.

1. Important Summary

metricfixer provides paid online technical support, diagnostics, configuration, troubleshooting, implementation, and consulting services related to web analytics, tracking, advertising technology, ecommerce measurement, pixels, server-side tracking, advertising platforms, CRM conversion imports, and related systems.

Because of the nature of the Services, Customers may submit:

  • contact information;
  • website URLs;
  • ticket descriptions;
  • screenshots;
  • diagnostic files;
  • analytics exports;
  • logs;
  • ecommerce records;
  • CRM-related information;
  • advertising account information;
  • access-related information;
  • email communications;
  • technical identifiers;
  • payment-related records.

We process such information to provide the Services, communicate with Customers, perform diagnostics, resolve support requests, process payments, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability of the service.

You should not submit unnecessary personal data, passwords, private keys, API secrets, health data, government identification data, full payment card data, children’s data, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a defined purpose and you have the legal right to provide it.

This representative does not replace Marketlab Analytics LLC as the controller of the Services and does not provide customer support, billing support, technical support, or legal representation for commercial disputes.

4. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with:

  • creating and managing support tickets;
  • submitting requests for diagnostics or services;
  • uploading files or screenshots;
  • providing website, analytics, advertising, CRM, ecommerce, or tracking information;
  • communicating with us by email;
  • receiving operational notifications;
  • paying for Services;
  • using customer cabinet areas, where available;
  • interacting with our analytics, advertising, cookie, security, and payment systems.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, advertising systems, analytics platforms, payment providers, ecommerce platforms, or other services that we do not control. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Our Role as Controller and Processor

Depending on the context, Marketlab may act as a controller or as a processor.

5.1 Marketlab as Controller

Marketlab acts as a controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing personal data, including for:

  • website operation;
  • account administration;
  • ticket intake and customer relationship management;
  • billing and payment records;
  • fraud prevention;
  • service security;
  • legal compliance;
  • tax and accounting records;
  • operational communications;
  • support quality control;
  • service improvement;
  • analytics and advertising on metricfixer.com;
  • enforcement of our Terms of Service;
  • dispute handling.

5.2 Marketlab as Processor

When a business Customer submits personal data about its own users, customers, employees, contractors, website visitors, ecommerce customers, leads, or other third parties for the purpose of receiving support services, Marketlab may process that data on behalf of the Customer.

In that case, the Customer is generally the controller, and Marketlab acts as processor or sub-processor for the relevant Customer Personal Data.

Where applicable, such processing is governed by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which is incorporated into the relationship between the Customer and Marketlab by reference and made available on metricfixer.com.

B2B Customers are not required to sign a separate individual DPA unless Marketlab expressly agrees otherwise.

6. Categories of Personal Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data.

6.1 Contact and Account Data

This may include:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • company name;
  • website URL;
  • role or job title;
  • account login information;
  • ticket account information;
  • customer cabinet information;
  • communication preferences.

When creating a ticket, the required fields may include name, email address, website URL, and company information. Country is generally collected during the payment process where required for tax, VAT, billing, or compliance purposes.

6.2 Ticket and Support Data

This may include:

  • ticket title;
  • ticket description;
  • messages and replies;
  • internal support references;
  • support history;
  • screenshots;
  • uploaded files;
  • diagnostic exports;
  • analytics reports;
  • tracking setup descriptions;
  • advertising account information;
  • CRM-related information;
  • ecommerce records;
  • order IDs;
  • transaction IDs;
  • event IDs;
  • conversion identifiers;
  • browser or device information;
  • technical logs;
  • implementation notes;
  • snippets, scripts, containers, and configuration files.

6.3 Website and Technical Data

When you visit metricfixer.com, we may collect:

  • approximate location derived from IP address;

Payment card information is processed by Stripe or other payment providers. metricfixer does not store full payment card numbers.

  • message IDs;
  • timestamps;
  • attachments;
  • delivery status;
  • thread references;
  • support reply history.

Email communications may be processed through Google Workspace, Postmark, or other email infrastructure providers.

6.6 Cookies and Tracking Data

We may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • essential website functionality;
  • session management;
  • security;
  • cookie consent management;
  • analytics;
  • advertising measurement;
  • retargeting;
  • Meta/Facebook Pixel;
  • Google Analytics 4;
  • other marketing or measurement purposes where implemented.

Cookie consent and preference management may be provided through Cookiebot or a similar consent management platform.

7. Information You Should Not Submit

You should not submit or upload:

  • full payment card numbers;
  • bank account credentials;
  • passwords;
  • private keys;
  • API secrets;
  • authentication tokens unless specifically requested through an approved method;
  • government identification documents;
  • health data;
  • biometric data;
  • data about children;
  • special category data under GDPR;
  • highly sensitive personal data;
  • confidential information not required for the specific ticket;
  • personal data that is unnecessary for diagnostics or support.

If such information is submitted accidentally, you may request that we delete, redact, or modify it where technically and legally possible.

metricfixer may also delete, redact, restrict, or refuse to process information that appears excessive, sensitive, unsafe, unlawful, irrelevant, or unnecessary.

8. How We Collect Personal Data

We collect personal data directly from you when you:

  • submit a ticket;
  • fill in a form;
  • upload files;
  • provide screenshots or logs;
  • send us an email;
  • reply to a support notification;
  • provide access information;
  • request a quote;

  • request deletion, correction, or privacy assistance.

We may also receive information from:

  • hosting and security providers;
  • CRM, ecommerce, analytics, advertising, or tracking platforms to which you provide access;
  • staff, contractors, or service providers involved in support delivery.

9. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data for the following purposes.

We use personal data to:

  • identify the Customer;
  • communicate about support requests;
  • perform diagnostics;
  • analyze technical issues;
  • review screenshots, logs, files, and exports;
  • configure analytics, tracking, pixels, tags, and integrations;
  • provide recommendations;
  • implement agreed changes;
  • verify completion of work;
  • provide warranty support where applicable;
  • maintain service history.

9.2 Payment and Billing

We use personal data to:

  • issue payment requests;
  • process payments through Stripe;
  • confirm payment status;
  • issue receipts or invoices where applicable;
  • manage refunds;
  • handle chargebacks or disputes;
  • maintain accounting, tax, and legal records.

9.3 Security and Abuse Prevention

We use personal data to:

  • protect accounts and tickets;
  • prevent unauthorized access;
  • detect abuse, spam, fraud, malware, and suspicious activity;
  • verify webhook, email, and payment events;
  • maintain logs;

  • enforce our Terms of Service.

9.4 Legal and Compliance Purposes

9.5 Analytics, Advertising, and Service Improvement

  • retarget website visitors where permitted;
  • optimize the performance of metricfixer.com.

We do not use the contents of support tickets, ticket attachments, customer files, or customer support data to train AI or LLM models.

10. Legal Bases for Processing

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases.

10.1 Contract

We process personal data when necessary to provide the Services, manage tickets, communicate with you, process service requests, and perform obligations under our Terms of Service.

10.2 Legitimate Interests

We process personal data based on legitimate interests, including:

  • customer support;
  • fraud prevention;

  • service improvement;
  • business administration;
  • dispute handling;
  • quality control;
  • technical diagnostics;
  • protection of legal rights.

We do not rely on legitimate interests where your rights and freedoms override those interests.

Where we process Customer Personal Data on behalf of a business Customer, we process such data under the Customer’s instructions and according to our Data Processing Addendum, where applicable.

11. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

metricfixer.com uses cookies and similar technologies.

These may include:

  • essential cookies required for website operation and security;
  • session cookies;
  • authentication cookies;
  • consent management cookies;
  • Google Analytics 4 cookies;
  • Meta/Facebook Pixel cookies or identifiers;
  • advertising and retargeting technologies;
  • performance and measurement technologies.

Cookiebot or a similar consent management tool may be used to collect, store, and manage cookie preferences.

Where required by law, non-essential cookies and tracking technologies are used only after consent.

You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner or cookie settings interface where available. You may also control cookies through your browser settings.

Disabling cookies may affect website functionality, analytics accuracy, advertising personalization, and service usability.

A separate Cookie Policy may provide additional details about the specific cookies and technologies used on metricfixer.com.

12. Payments and Stripe

Payments may be processed through Stripe.

When you pay for Services, you may be redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout or payment page. Stripe may collect and process payment card data, billing details, country, tax/VAT information, fraud-prevention data, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy policy.

metricfixer does not store full payment card numbers.

We may receive and store payment-related records from Stripe, including:

  • payment status;
  • amount;
  • currency;
  • payment ID;
  • customer reference;
  • receipt or invoice reference;
  • payment request information;
  • refund status;
  • dispute or chargeback information;
  • country or tax-related information where applicable.

Such information is used for billing, accounting, payment confirmation, customer support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

Country, VAT, and tax-related information may be collected during the Stripe payment process where required for tax or billing purposes.

13. Email Processing

metricfixer uses email to provide support and service notifications.

We may use:

  • Google Workspace for support email and outgoing email;
  • Postmark for inbound email processing, ticket replies, or transactional email workflows;
  • other email infrastructure providers where necessary.

If you reply to a support email, the content of your reply, email headers, metadata, and attachments may be processed and stored as part of the ticket history.

You should not send passwords, API secrets, private keys, sensitive personal data, or full payment card information by ordinary email.

If you accidentally send sensitive information by email, you may request deletion or redaction where technically and legally possible.

14. Files and Attachments

Customers may upload files and attachments where required for support.

The maximum file size is generally 25 MB, unless a different limit is stated in the interface or agreed separately.

Attachments may include screenshots, logs, exports, diagnostic files, configuration files, container exports, or other materials required for the ticket.

Attachments are used to perform diagnostics, provide support, document work, maintain service history, provide warranty support, and protect legal or operational interests.

Attachments should not contain unnecessary personal data or sensitive data.

Closed-ticket attachments are generally retained for 1 year, unless earlier deletion is requested and legally or technically possible, or unless longer retention is necessary for legal, security, dispute, warranty, or compliance reasons.

15. Support Data and AI / LLM Use

metricfixer does not use support tickets, ticket attachments, customer files, customer screenshots, diagnostic exports, or Customer Personal Data submitted in support requests to train AI or LLM models.

We do not sell support ticket content.

We do not use support ticket content for retargeting or behavioral advertising.

If AI-assisted support tools are introduced in the future in a way that involves Customer Personal Data, this Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum and subprocessor information will be updated.

16. Data Sharing and Service Providers

We may share personal data with service providers and subprocessors where necessary to operate metricfixer and provide the Services.

Service providers may include:

  • hosting providers;
  • server infrastructure providers;
  • email providers;
  • payment processors;
  • analytics providers;
  • advertising technology providers;
  • consent management providers;
  • security providers;
  • backup providers;
  • legal, accounting, and tax advisors;
  • contractors or staff involved in delivering support.

We require service providers to process data only as necessary for the services they provide to us, subject to appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards where required.

17. International Data Transfers

Marketlab Analytics LLC is a United States company. The production server for metricfixer is expected to be located in the European Union, in Warsaw, Poland.

However, personal data may be accessed from or transferred to countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where Marketlab, its staff, contractors, service providers, or subprocessors operate.

Where EU, UK, Swiss, or similar transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards where required, which may include:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • UK transfer mechanisms;
  • data processing agreements;
  • subprocessor agreements;
  • technical and organizational security measures;
  • access controls;
  • minimization of data transferred;
  • other lawful transfer mechanisms.

By using the Services, you understand that your personal data may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

18. Staff and Contractor Access

Staff and contractors located outside the United States may have access to tickets, support data, customer communications, and related records where necessary to provide the Services.

Access is granted only where needed for service delivery, support, security, administration, or operational purposes.

Staff and contractors with access to Customer information are expected to comply with confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.

19. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Our standard retention periods are:

If you request deletion, we may delete or anonymize ticket conversation content where technically and legally possible.

However, certain records may not be deleted if they are required for:

  • payment verification;
  • accounting;
  • tax compliance;
  • payroll or compensation records related to completed work;
  • legal claims;
  • dispute resolution;
  • fraud prevention;
  • security;
  • chargeback handling;
  • compliance with legal obligations.

In particular, payment operations and records of performed work related to payment, accounting, and compensation may need to be retained even if ticket conversation content is deleted.

Backup copies may persist for a limited period until overwritten or deleted according to backup cycles.

20. Deletion, Redaction, and Secrets

You may request deletion, correction, redaction, or restriction of personal data by contacting us by email.

If you accidentally submit passwords, private keys, API secrets, tokens, or other sensitive information, you may request that we redact, modify, or delete such information from ticket content where technically and legally possible.

We may also redact or delete secrets or excessive personal data at our discretion if we identify them in tickets, emails, files, or attachments.

Deletion may be limited where we must retain records for legal, accounting, payment, security, warranty, dispute, or compliance reasons.

21. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • request portability of certain data;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • object to direct marketing;
  • opt out of certain advertising or cookie-based tracking where available;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

22. EU / EEA and UK Data Protection Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If your data was submitted to metricfixer by one of our business Customers, the Customer may be the controller responsible for responding to your request. In such cases, we may assist the Customer according to our Data Processing Addendum.

23. California and Other US State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you may have rights regarding your personal information, depending on whether the relevant law applies to us and to the specific processing activity.

These rights may include:

  • the right to know what categories of personal information we collect;
  • the right to know how we use and disclose personal information;
  • the right to request access to personal information;
  • the right to request deletion;
  • the right to request correction;
  • the right to opt out of certain sharing or sale of personal information;
  • the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

metricfixer does not sell support ticket content, Customer files, or Customer Personal Data submitted for support.

metricfixer does not use support ticket content for cross-context behavioral advertising.

24. Marketing Communications

metricfixer does not currently operate a newsletter.

We may send operational, transactional, support, billing, payment, security, or service-related messages when necessary to provide the Services.

If we introduce marketing emails in the future, we will provide an unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism where required by law.

25. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

These measures may include:

  • access controls;
  • limited staff access;
  • private storage of support attachments;
  • authentication controls;
  • HTTPS encryption in transit;
  • server security controls;
  • logging and monitoring;
  • secure handling of payment processing through Stripe;
  • separation of payment card processing from metricfixer systems;

  • staff confidentiality obligations;
  • deletion or redaction of secrets upon request where possible.

No system, website, email channel, or internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for using secure devices, secure passwords, safe access-sharing methods, and appropriate backups.

26. Children’s Data

metricfixer is not intended for children and does not knowingly provide Services to children.

Customers must not submit children’s personal data unless expressly required for a specific lawful purpose and expressly accepted by metricfixer.

If we learn that children’s personal data has been submitted without a valid basis, we may delete or restrict it.

27. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Some browsers or devices may transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals.

Because there is no universally accepted technical standard for all such signals, metricfixer may not respond to every browser-based “Do Not Track” signal.

Where legally required and technically supported, we may honor recognized opt-out preference signals or provide cookie and advertising controls through the consent management interface.

28. Third-Party Websites and Platforms

The Services may involve third-party platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Amazon, Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, CRM systems, call tracking providers, email tracking providers, hosting providers, DNS providers, and consent management platforms.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or policies of third-party platforms.

When you use a third-party platform or provide us access to it, your data may also be processed under that platform’s own privacy policy, terms, and data processing terms.

29. Data Processing Addendum

Where metricfixer processes Customer Personal Data on behalf of a business Customer, our Data Processing Addendum may apply.

The DPA is made available on metricfixer.com and is incorporated into the relationship between the business Customer and Marketlab by reference.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, B2B Customers join the published DPA and do not sign a separate individual DPA.

30. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on metricfixer.com with a new “Last Updated” date.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law or where we consider it appropriate.

Continued use of the Services after the updated Policy is posted means that you acknowledge the updated Policy.

By using metricfixer.com, submitting a ticket, uploading files, communicating with us, providing access to systems, making a payment, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy / Data Protection Policy.
